Eye, eye.

I have been playing around with eyes lately and have had some pretty good results, the top pic is my new eyes, the pic below is my old eyes.

I have purchased a mold from a resin jewelery retails and basically poured very carefully mixed epoxy into the domes, i have then either made a pupil from a small ball of  black miliputty or used a small black sticker to form the pupil. All that is left to do is add some colour. I have also purchased some beads which i think will also work well for smaller lures.

I have finally got round to making an improved version of an old sinking glidebait that had the most amazing action. Below are pics of the old and the new design, i shall be testing this out very soon.

Some old ones i found in a tub, plus my best topwater lures, the swimmin dog and big gob

Some new jerks

Here are a few jerks i made with winter in mind, ulimate slow sinking. The green one was an experiment i used 3 lead holes all weighted high in the body around the centre, i was hoping for more wobble but this hasnt happened. I am happy with the result though.
