Bronze/black perch

Half way through painting this i took a picture because i thought it looked really cool.

Lots of things in the pipeline, in fact i have that many i am struggling keeping myself focused on the one thing. I am off work this Saturday so i intend on having a good 8 hour building session. Here's a pics i found on my phone of a swimbait bream i made  a while back. I will be making some more of these soon.

New guitar

This has nothing to do with lures but i thought i would share this beautifull new guitar with you. 1974 univox baddaz in dark sunburst.

My first batch of perch jerks

Here's my first perch resin jerks, this carving, mould making, resin pouring is a lot more challenging than I thought it would be and I think it will take a while to really get the benefit from it. The amount of resin available plus the density variants and powder fillers is quite mind blowing. I have probably spent more time on the net than I have making lures. I can't help thinking it will be worth the time and expense in the end.

Perch

Well the first perch jerks are nearing completion, can't wait to test them out at the weekend. Photos to follow.

Carving perch

Made a start at carving a few perch, they need a good few hours putting into them but i thought i would record the process a bit at a time.

Mould madness

Finished my master and made my first lure mould, i cant wait to try some resin in it now.
