Bob Bibby sent me these pics yesterday of a few pike he had whilst testing my 'rat tail' surface lure for me. The lure looks like being a winner and has also put pike on the bank for me whilst testing. It has a tight walking action but can be made to go about 10" under the surface, this lure is going to get chewed up big time.

Heres a few surface lures i have been making, cant wait for spring.

The above lure is a favourite that i know is going to be brilliant, dog walker with a subtle splash and lovely rippling tail

This is a jerkbait that i weighted to be used 'wakebait style.

The big gob has seen better days so i just repoxied it, the disturbance this makes is awesome. I took a few pike on this las year.

The cyclops is a dog walk bait with a down facing eye, a nice splash on the jerk. I used a prototype of this last year to great efffect.

The swimming dog needs fixing up a bit, i even got a nice fish cranking it as fast as i could last year. A wake that seems to last forever. A big lure that has saved me a few times. I love the looks i get when i throw the dog.
